Andaman and Nicobar tour places consist mainly of beautiful beaches and hills. Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island is one such important tourist spot. The beach was given the title of Aisa's Best Beach by the Times Magazine. The Cellular Jail or 'Kaala Paani', is an old jail, which used by the British to exile many notable freedom fighters, such as Batukeshwar Dutt, Yogendra Shukla, and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Laxmanpur Beach, in the Havelock Island, is a long beach divided into two beaches- Laxmanpur Beach I, famous for sunrise and sunsets at the beach; and Laxmanpur Beach II, known for the natural arch bridge, which is also known as the Howrah Bridge. Andaman and Nicobar Islands houses many national parks, out of which the Mount Harriet National Park, is the most famous and most beautiful. Viper Island was another place used by the British to house freedom fighters, long before Cellular Jail in Port Blair was constructed. Port Blair also houses two museums that elaborate the rich history of this Union Territory- the Anthropological Museum and Samudrike Naval Marine museum. Barren Island gets its name because this island is largely uninhabited. The only active volcano in the Indian Subcontinent is present here and the frequent volcanic eruptions make this place uninhabitable. If you do not mind a long journey, the naturally formed Limestone Caves near Baratang Island are a very popular tourist destination among the Andaman and Nicobar tour places.
